Did you know?

1 in 5 people in South Georgia (and 1 in 4 kids) don't know where they will get their next meal.  This struggle with hunger, termed "food insecurity", is higher in our region than anywhere else in the state.

What is food Insecurity?

Food insecurity refers to USDAs measure of lack of access, at times, to enough food for an active, healthy life for all household members and limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate foods.
